The Twelfth Month 2021

That Time of Year Again

Hey, look at that, it’s December of 2021, which means we are in the final month of the year before a new one begins. People around me often say, “Where did the time go” or “Can you believe it’s already December?” My response to those statements is, “Yes, I can because I went through 11 months before today.” I, for one, refrain from saying such alarming phrases because it feels like it actually speeds up the time. I don’t want to do that because I enjoy living one day at a time.

But here we are in the month of December, and we get a little cooler here in the Florida area. As cool as we ever get here, which usually averages to 60 Fahrenheit (Around 13 Celsius). I don’t mind this kind of weather and wish it was like that most of the year, and feels like it brings me closer together with people.

December channels much nostalgia in me because it takes me back to previous times of this time of year where I was family, or playing video games, spending time with my brother, and spending time with me wife with the traditions she and I create together.

As a Writer

In other news, I want to thank everyone who has followed me this year and has left alike on the posts I’ve been doing this year. It’s a positive thing for me to engage in writing and rise to a challenge to create a blog post or a fictional work for people to read.

This activity is vital to me because it is the outlet and medium for which my creativity flows. I create worlds and even share my viewpoint on things. To restrict me as plainly a fictional author boxes me into a corner. I would instead expand out into other fields of writing. It does show that I’ve written more fiction than non-fiction, but that’s okay because I hit a stride, and I wasn’t going to slow it down!

Although I may not have self-published a book this year, there’s always next year because I’m still on this side of the dirt living in this reality. I have time, but I also need to drive myself to push further along to the goal of putting out work for you to read.

Proofreading, editing, and re-writing it has been a different game for me because I’ve always just written and been done with it. I wrote something, and that was the end of that project. I didn’t need to do anything else with it! This was a viewpoint I had to change if I wanted to improve as an author.

I hope to have a larger story for you to read in the near future, and you’re subscribed and follows mean a lot to me as they motivate me to push myself to that level.

All for you!

Finally, I’m Closing a Chapter

Finally, I’m Closing a Small Chapter

If you’ve been following me this year, then you’ll know that I’ve been on another podcast. However, in the last few months, there has been a shortage of posting of any of our episodes. Things occurred and went a while without a consistent post or communication, so it felt like a logical conclusion to part ways with them. This was amicable, and I don’t bear any resentment or hard feelings to them.

I will take this month to reset, reflect, and renew myself before 2022, so I hit the ground running in the new year with greater purpose. Ideas, goals, and intentions are up in the air now, and it’s time to be with my loved ones and have a joyful time.

Until next time, see you soon, readers ^_^
