A lot of us every year set our resolutions, goals, and things we want to change for the new year. Sometimes we accomplish them, and other times they don’t happen. Setting up goals and resolutions is a great exercise in changing although it shouldn’t be a reason to procrastinate. I’m guilty of that, too.
This my list of goals I want to accomplish in 2021.
- Self-Publish a Story
I want to reach the next level of being a writer and self-publish one my works for people to read. If you followed my podcast, Who’s Listening with Leon Andrews, then you’d know I wrote a 50,000 word book back in November 2019. And in 2020 I wrote another story, not as long, but it seems to be catching up. In 2021 I want to put forward the intention of making this happen.
2. Finishing Saving 3 Months’ Worth of Rent and Bills
I’m getting very close creating my “Rainy Day Fund.” I’m only several hundred dollars of away from it. Having this backup fund provides me a peace of mind if something goes wrong then money won’t be much of a worry for me.
3. Reorg and Retool my Blog and Post More
I want to see this WordPress blog be a reflection of who I am and a medium where I share my creativity and lifestyle with readers. This blog should grow along with me.
4. Figure Out a Side Hustle
My job is a solid source of income, yet it is prudent to have more than one sources of income. That’s why I should look inward to my talents and find a service or a good I could provide to people and sell it.
5. Produce More Podcast Episode
I enjoyed producing my podcast and I nice small following with it. Therefore I should revitalize that passion and do more with it.
6. Make More Donations
It’s nice to give back to the world and support a church or a foundation I believe in.
7. Raise my Credit Score
It’s just a smart thing to do because if I want to help my wife get a loan then my credit score needs to be in a stable range.
8. Regularly Do a Scalp Treatment
I’m using a coconut oil with some woo oil to create a solution for my scalp. Both have rejuvenating properties and help with dryness and scabs. My hair has been thinning since 2016, and I’ve been working with my wife to reverse it.
9. Cut Down on Dairy Consumption
I feel a lot of my scalp issues and my gut are connected to my consumption of dairy products. It’s not going to be a hardcore cut, but a more gradual thing. Dairy cream is something I use often with my coffee, but in the last few weeks I’ve been drinking my coffee black. I’m already on my way.
10. Look Good in a Zentai Suit
It seems a little silly, but I’d like to fit well in a full body zentai suit. I’ve been looking at a few online themed after Spider-Man. Then I’ll go do parkour in it. Yeah! ^_^
These are my goals so far for 2021. Some of them are a little more serious than others, but these are goals nonetheless. It will take willingness and time to make them all happen. And the support of my lovely wife 🙂
What are you goals for 2021?
